How it works
An advance, not a loan
We purchase a fixed amount of your future receivables at a discount. You receive the advance now and remit a set percentage of daily or weekly sales until the purchased amount is paid. No fixed maturity date, no compounding interest.

Cost transparency
Know the number
before you sign
Every MCA offer on Tovah shows the advance amount, the total purchased amount, the holdback percentage, an estimated payoff timeline, and an annualized cost estimate so you can compare it to anything else. If it's expensive, we say so.
MCA cost calculator
Illustrative only. Not an offer or a quote. The annualized figure is a simple estimate for comparison; your offer shows exact numbers.
Honest fit check
When an MCA is the wrong tool
If you have predictable revenue and time to wait, a term loan or line of credit will usually cost less. If you're stacking a second advance to cover a first, stop and call us. We'd rather lose the deal than fund a bad one.
FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
Is an MCA a loan?
No. A merchant cash advance is a purchase of future receivables. You receive funds now and remit a percentage of sales until the purchased amount is delivered. There's no interest rate and no fixed maturity date.
How is the cost calculated?
With a factor rate. A $100,000 advance at a 1.30 factor means $130,000 in purchased receivables. Your offer also shows an estimated annualized cost so you can compare it to a loan.
What's a holdback?
The percentage of your daily or weekly sales remitted toward the purchased amount. Because it's a percentage, remittances go down when sales go down.
Can I pay early?
Depends on the product. Term loans can be prepaid. Some advances offer a discount for early payoff. It's stated in your offer.
Will checking my rate hurt my credit?
No. Seeing your terms requires no hard credit pull. A partner may run a hard inquiry only after you accept an offer, and we tell you first.
Can I renew?
Often, yes, once a meaningful share of the current advance is paid down. Renewals run from the same dashboard with no new application.
